But Emperor Kang quickly hears of this new Reich and seeks to crush it. He builds the Dream Palaces, constructs of futuristic design that house his most powerful agents. A reign of terror ensues. The streets run thick with blood and the masses are once again crushed under the weight of Kang's dominion. Only a handful of priests remain at the New Vatican, the rest flee for some hope of survival.
